The V124 long-wheelbase limousine joined the Mercedes-Benz 124 series in 1989.
The 124 series began with the W124 saloon in November 1984, followed by the T-Modell estate in 1985 and the coupe in 1987. The long-wheelbase limousine (V124) was added in 1989, and the cabriolet (A124) in 1991.
In June 1993 the series was renamed E-Class. The series ran until 1997.
